Last week, I no sooner finished building a business website for a friend, and I found myself building a simple website of our home for sale. I figured that while I was still in the website building mode, it couldn’t possibly hurt to have another site where the house could be found online. I mean, what’s one more site when you have it listed and syndicated to over 35 sites already?
Anyway, 4 hours later, it was published and officially out there in cyberspace, somewhere, to be found by whoever might be looking. That was this past Tuesday evening.
Wednesday morning I get a call from an agent who has been working with out-of-town clients and has shown them several houses. BINGO…all of a sudden, our house is in the picture! Coincidence? I don’t think so.
I believe these buyers have been doing their own searching and landed on my page, called their agent and said, “hey we found this house…..” and before you know it, I was cleaning house, doing the dishes, folding laundry, vacuuming, wiping mirrors, etc.
It was a lengthy showing, over 40 minutes (which is a good sign in itself) and the agent contacted me later that evening with positive feedback that the couple was interested, and that she would be contacting me tomorrow
(today) to discuss numbers. I sure hope this is the one.
I really don’t want to have to clean house all over again!
