I Found Scenery at Alona Beach, Bohol, Philippines

Sweet Mango Moment….

The Scenery at Alona Beach

During our recent Island hopping adventure, we visited Cebu, stayed in Bohol at the Sun Avenue Hotel close to the waterfront, and visited Panglao Island. In Bohol, after visiting the Chocolate Hills, and Tarsier Conservatory, we had lunch on the Rio Verde Floating Restaurant on the Loboc River, and then visited the Hinagdanan Cave with the underground pool. After a full day, I inquired at the hotel desk what else was there to do in Tagbilaran City. I asked the young female clerk if there were any museums, art galleries, or other tourist attractions in the city. She responded “You can go swimming!” I must have looked like any other tourist to her.  I just sighed and smiled while thinking to myself “I live on a freaking island, I don’t need to go swimming.” I thanked her and walked away and headed to Alona Beach anyway. It was a bit windy and wet, so the “scenery” was somewhat limited. We didn’t swim but the Mango Shakes were beyond good!
